 Sr. Analog Design Engineer - Austin, TX (TSP-0008)

Responsibilities    
Responsible for the development of analog blocks and top level analog integration for consumer audio products. Candidate defines and implements optimal analog design supporting best in class audio performance coupled with low power and aggressive die area. Innovative implementation and analog architecture is encouraged.    

Requirements    
- MSEE with 5+ yrs experience and involvement in multiple tapeouts
- Experience with the development of analog blocks for audio products that may include ADC, DAC, bandgap reference circuits, phase locked loops, analog I/O buffers, and analog comparators

This person is familiar with analog CAD tool usage, such as SPICE and Cadence Virtuoso schematic capture

 Analog Design Engineer - Austin, TX (TSP-0009)

Semiconductor company, an industry leader in the innovation of high-performance, analog-intensive, mixed-signal ICs, is searching for a number of Analog Design Engineers to join their R&D organization.       

Responsibilities     
Detailed design of analog/mixed-signal circuits, including design capture, layout, test, evaluation and debugging of prototype ICs and design support for mass production. Expected to play lead role in product definition and be responsible for designing significant blocks of chip, including chip architecture. Essential Functions: - Architects, designs and verifies circuits, logic, systems, algorithms, etc. to meet product requirements. - Determines design approaches and parameters. - Develops innovative new designs for patenting or protecting as trade secret. - Demonstrates good judgment in solving a broad range of issues, based on an advanced understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures. - Responsible for custom layout, including overseeing the work of layout designers. - Conducts evaluation of design results by laboratory measurements of ICs. - Reports on design results through design reviews, in accordance with company quality requirements and resolves action items generated as a result of these reviews. - Attends design reviews to provide input and learn from other designers' experiences. - Researches design techniques through technical publications and seminars. - Supports marketing in product definition. - Supports efficient test program development. - Supports product engineering to meet manufacturing/production needs. - Supports applications engineering to meet customer needs. - Oversees and mentors other engineers in either a technical or project lead role. - Having wide-ranging experience uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. - Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. - Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate the activities of other personnel.     

Requirements     
Education and/or Experience: A technology-related bachelor's degree or equivalent training and 8 years of related experience. An advanced degree may reduce the minimum experience required. Graduate coursework is desirable.  Sr. Audio Systems Software Engineer - Austin, TX (TSP-0007)

Responsibilities         
Senior Software Engineer with Windows kernel development experience and technical leadership experience. The Audio Systems Software Engineer is expected to provide technical expertise and leadership in all areas related to PC audio software. This is a software design and implementation position working with PC Audio device drivers, user applications and property panels, and audio signal processing solutions. This position is primarily focused on support for the Microsoft Vista operating system and is responsible for developing key components required by the new audio subsystem design of this OS. Position also includes development and support for legacy OS platforms.
- Technical leadership role with PC audio software team.
- Design, implement, test, and document software components.
- Participate in feasibility analysis and requirements definition.

Responsibilities     
Windows device driver developer, with experience in WDM for XP/Vista. The Device Driver Developer is expected to provide technical knowledge and understanding for the development of PC Audio device drivers, both in support of new HDA semiconductor devices as well as maintenance of existing HDA and AC/97 devices. This position is dependent upon extensive experience with both Windows XP and Windows Vista device driver models, memory management, and inter-process communications. Contributing member of the PC audio software team. Design, implement, test, and document device driver solutions. Participate in feasibility analysis and requirements definition.      

Requirements     
Ability to review a software or new device specification, and provide accurate technical, risk, and schedule assessments. Ability to analyze, debug, and prototype solutions. Ability to accurately document and communicate designs. Kernel-level debug and reverse engineering. multi-node server side infrastructure and multi-volume storage infrastructure and all the
associated storage management applications. This individual will also be responsible for
